Anyone playing golf after wrist fusion surgery? - golf and finger pain
I'm considering surgery to improve the problems of the right wrist pain of arthritis.
The operation will be merged as a merger, the carpal bones into one. Not bend the wrist later. Hand / finger strength improves and pain is much reduced (by medical personnel)
Golf possible or not?
I tried to hit a few balls with a corset doll to simulate the difference. It seems that it is possible to tailor the swing with a little practice. Comments?

Of course! There is a player in the national tour, reverse pivots backwards with his hands. I have carpal fusion in the left hand, and I am a single digit handicapper. It is a matter of time, do not **** your wrist so that the distance should not really lose. But there is no adjustment, as you probably know, but I think it should be no problem after recruitment. For me, golf is a game of eternal optimism. Look at it this way: You can never bend of the wrist in the wrong direction after the operation, it is one less thing to do evil, or as I like the idea that here is always consistent.
First, I welcome your thoughts about your situation. They seam positive that you through how you always think in a position to play golf after surgery, the fusion of the wrist.
I had major surgery in the lower back that was removed is reduced by 40% from 3 plates, and I'm still prone to herniated discs. Setting, I had to learn to move more freely and with less spin and speed of the clubhead resulting in a shorter distance, but my accuracy.
Lee Trevino was struck by lightning, I think, 3 swing times, then looked strange, but I have for him. I think a turn is scheduled to go adapted their physical abilities after the surgery - to.
Good luck and good luck.
